Hostesses & hosts for smooth congress operations Personnel service for the Schlumberger Digital Forum 2022

The SLB Digital Forum 2022 offered the most comprehensive program to date and attracted a record number of high-profile participants - more than 1,250 representatives from 66 nations, including the Chairman and CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella, and the President and CEO of Saudi Aramco, Amin Nasser. The event's motto “Connecting for a New Future” signaled a new era of cooperation and was brought to life by numerous industry collaborations. The major international event, which took place from September 18 to 23, 2022 at the Lucerne Culture and Convention Center (KKL) and other satellite locations, attracted a large number of prominent business figures to Switzerland. USP was commissioned by touch associates as a full-service partner to take care of all the personnel for the event.

A total of around 80 people were on duty at various stations during the forum days: the main area of operation was at the event location in the KKL, where the team was responsible for registration, badge distribution, briefing on the events and desk support with general information about the event. In addition, the hostesses and hosts looked after the forum participants in the hotels and offered a high-quality guest service with information about the event, the daily program and concierge service. Arrival and departure were also made as pleasant as possible by the USP staff - at Zurich Airport and Lucerne railway station, hostesses and hosts were on hand to welcome the guests and ensure that they arrived safely at the event location.

USP took care of the entire personnel management for the top-class event and recruited and selected suitable hostesses and hosts according to the requirements profile and depending on the area of application, was responsible for the entire deployment planning to ensure smooth forum operations and high-quality guest service and offered an all-round service by organizing additional services (hair and make-up artists, dress code management, etc.). The USP project team was also on site for the entire duration of the forum, provided staff training in advance of the event and managed the teams directly on site during the event in order to be able to react quickly to changing requirements and ensure high quality from A to Z.
