For the launch of the new Bilz Stellare from Feldschlösschen Getränke AG, USP developed and implemented an eye-catching shopper promotion (FFP) at seven Migros locations in German-speaking Switzerland. Over three days per location, a total of almost 90,000 contacts were generated through sampling, on-site tastings, and suitable brand activation.
The presentation was consistently aligned with Bilz Stellare's new brand identity and seamlessly conveyed the campaign message at the POS. Functional and modular stand elements provided the necessary flexibility for implementation depending on the stand space and for setup/dismantling while decorative elements such as trees bearing the fruits of the beverages ensured the necessary attention to detail.
Brand activation with cult status
The highlight of the promotion was the interactive “Fritz Bilz” pouring ritual: on a small platform, shoppers tried to pour the drink from above into a glass – ideally with the same skill as the advertising character Fritz Bilz.
A measuring stick integrated into the backdrop with different levels – the higher the better – awarded the best swing with a rating such as “Fritz Bilz”. Of course, the stand was designed for the brand experience in such a way that even minor mishaps did not cause a mess thanks to the drip tray.
Successful activation at the POS
With a combination of strong brand presence, interactive experience, and lots of product contact, USP succeeded in bringing the Bilz Stellare brand message to life and anchoring it in the target group's consciousness through the all-important trials.
